The bridge between Earth and Asgardian being destroyed echoes through time and space. The Doctor and The Tardis hear those vibrations. His Tardis interior noise is filtering the sound of the universe and right then and there, whatever happened, not only hurt The Tardis but The Doctor himself. Causing them both to land smack back on Earth.
